Just before Christmas I'd like to give you a little update.
- I passed my first "Lehrprobe" (classroom observation) and oral exam of my "Referendariat" and so I'm allowed to teach my other subject (history) in French.
- That's why the last few weeks were pretty stressfull. I had to grade a lot of tests. My favourite compensation was meeting friends and going to the Christmas market for a nice little hot spiced wine.
One of the first "Glühwein" with that lovely girl called Lisa.
Then there was the Christmas bazar at our school. All of the Referendare wanted to get a photo. Since the girls all wanted to be Santa Claus, I was supposed to be an angel but I wanted to fly, so I jumped into the picture. ;-)
I got a new haircut and this painting of David.
Texas meets Freiburg! My favourite Betti came over for a little visit during my last week in Freiburg before Christmas. We had so much fun (as usual). We made and imporvised night trip to Schönau fetching my keys that I left there. :-S We wlaked around the city, met with friends, had nice food and just quality time catching up.
What a great weather... I'm convinced Betti brought the Texan sun to Germany!
At our favourite Döner Kebap place in town enjoying a lecker Yufka!
And of course we had to stop at the Glühwein stand for some hot wine! PROST!
What do the Germans do like no one else??? - CHRISTMAS MARKETS!
Betti Claus is coming to town.
Enjoying some Colombian delicacies while watching Downton Abbey.
Shopping tour at Intermarché right behind the border. Stop in Neuf-Brisach where we bougth... a baguette!
