Don’t fear the Twang!

Alright alright! How y’all doing?

I just want to tell you today that Kim Carson is returning to Europe with her band. From May to August you can see her and listen to her great Honky Tonk Music in South-Germany, Scandinavia and Switzerland. If you like real American Country Music I want to encourage you to go to one of her concerts. Betti and I 'discovered' Kim and the Enablers last summer and we were just falling in love with her and her music, so we went to three of her concerts. =)

1st concert 2011:

13th May: Efringen-Kirchen – Rathaus Café

Other concerts in and around Freiburg:

26th June: Oberlindenhock – Freiburg am Schwabentor – 18h

22-23th July: Country Weekend – Binzen – Gasthof Schwanen

Travelling to Freiburg Neue Messe in order to finally try out the "American Diner" in Freiburg...

Excitement, joy and crazyness went with us... as usual!

I thought of Becky, Gretelito and our trip to New York... that's where I first went to a Diner!

Betti Burger...

Ellen with her Burger and her Shake...

ATTACKE! They look kind of small but let me tell you: They were HUGE!

That's why we were sooooooooooo full afterwards...

Wow, the milk shakes were really yummy!!! "So what from!"

GOING BACK TO DOWN TOWN FREIBURG: Ghetto kids... yo yo yo Freiburg at night!

HAVING A LAST DRINK at the "Mehlwaage": We sat in the Volksmusik-Ecke... so funny! Servus, Gruezi und Hallooooooooooooooo!

Ellen found her glass soooo cute. Betti and I, we had a Captain Morgan-Cola... LECKER! Then we all went home full of Burger, Shakes, Coke and other drinks... (at least) I slept like a stone! =)

Basel / Bâle - a beautiful city (just like Freiburg) Ok, where's Nemo?

(Butterfly, my butterfly...)

Pique-nique dans le parc.
